Calling all expectant moms and dads! Celebrate the magic of motherhood and wonders of womanhood at the Belly Blessed Fest 2013!

Celebrate the many joys of pregnancy with Belly Blessed Fest 2013! A three-day event dedicated to expectant moms, Belly Blessed Fest will be held from July 12 to 14, 2013 at the 2nd and 3rd Level Atrium of The Podium Mall in Pasig City.

There’ll be exciting interactive stations to delight expectant moms and dads-to-be like the Pregnancy Portrait Booth, Clay Medallion Making Station, and a wishing wall where moms can write special messages to the miracle growing inside their wombs. Alongside the activity stations will be booths showcasing the latest mom and baby products and services in the market today. Moms-to-be can also browse and shop for essentials at the mompreneur booths.

There will also be products for toddlers and children, Crumbs and Grubs Lactation goodies and snacks for expectant and nursing moms. As part of the Mommy Mundo events' tradition, there will be raffles throughout the day.

Mommy Mundo: Moms on The Floor 2012

Mommy Mundo: Moms on The Floor 2012, a floor-based learning and bonding event for expectant moms and dads, and moms with infants and kids.

Mommy Mundo- the country’s go-to resource for active, modern moms is inviting moms to get on the floor this October 13, 2012, Saturday at The LOFT, Manansala Tower, Rockwell, Makati. 

Getting “ON THE FLOOR” means fitness, bonding and fun! Moms on the Floor is a floor-based learning and bonding event for expectant moms and dads, and moms with infants and kids .
Now on its third year, MOMS ON THE FLOOR, promises to be equally exciting with the three portions Mommy Mundo has prepared.

The first portion is for pregnant moms from 10:00am to 12:00nn. The portion will feature prenatal yin yoga by Dona Esteban and labor and breathing exercises by Rome Kanapi.

The second portion is for moms with infants 0-1 year old will be from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. The portion will feature infant massage by Rome Kanapi and mom and baby exercises by Gymboree.

Breathing Exercises and Infant Massage with Rome Kanapi. (She's our Prepared Childbirth Instructor and her talks are very helpful and informative!)

The last portion will be for moms with kids that are 1 to 6 years old from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. This portion will feature YogaKids by Michelle Aventajado and Zumba fun by Slimmers World.

Participation is free but PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED as there are limited slots available per portion. Interested husbands or partners also need to register to join the event.

All Participants must bring their own mats and come in comfortable clothing.

Smart Parenting Baby Shower

Last September 1, 2012, Smart Parenting held the Baby Shower Event at Discovery Suites, Ortigas. I was one of the very excited expectant moms who joined the super fun-filled event. Upon arriving at the venue, we were welcomed by the Smart Parenting staff and were given name tags and our assigned tables. They had a photobooth set up at the entrance. Before the event started, everyone enjoyed the lunch buffet spread provided by the wonderful staff of Discovery Suites.

The event was kicked off by a lively opening of our very perky host, Delamar Arias. Several resource persons gave out talks on Pregnancy Myths, Parenting Tips, Breastfeeding, Proper Nutrition during Pregnancy, and Pregnant Fashion Tips. The talks were very fun and informative! They had games at the end of every talk and gave prizes to attentive moms!

We had so much fun with the fun games they had! There were games such as Pictionary, The Price is Right, etc which gave moms a chance to interact with other moms and bring home goodies for their nursery rooms. For a first-time mom like me, the event gave me an idea on what to do for my own baby shower. It also made me even more excited to plan out my baby shower. I wish all moms could go to events like this. Not only is it fun, its very informative as well. Helps ease my "first-time parent anxieties and worries".

Everyone went home with goodies from Smart Parenting Magazine, Avent, Oilatum, All About Kids, and Robinson's Department Store. I love that they gave us nursery and baby essentials such as Layette Sets, Milk Containers, and other baby products. Truly this event gave all of us expectant moms a fun wonderful break from all our pregnant mommy duties. Such a fun-filled day it was!

The Happy Mommies Club

We now have a Happy Mommies Club where we could share tips, talk about motherhood, child care, home-making and home-business related activities , girl stuff, and also to serve as a support group for pregnant moms.

These past few months, I realized how important it is to have great support when you are pregnant, it's specially important to help fight the blues away and avoid all those anxieties and stress of that pregnancy can sometimes bring. Our experienced Mommies can help provide you with the support you need for a happy and healthy pregnancy.

From helping you prepare for the things you'll need, helping you with planning, to providing information resources for your needs. I know a lot of first-time moms would find them as helpful and useful as I have! 

There will be Mommy Gathering Events where members can get together, discuss pregnancy and motherhood-related topics, organize bazaar/venues for our moms with home businesses and to provide our moms with affordable baby and maternity needs, invite resources speakers to our events to provide information to our moms, and more fun activities ahead!

My Belly Blessed Fest and Mommy Mundo 2012 Experience

The Belly Blessed Fest and Mommy Mundo was held today at Fun Ranch, Frontera Verde, Pasig City. Can I just say how so much fun it was! There were a lot of booths that gave out so many baby products, discounts, and information kits to expectant moms and moms. Upon entering the venue, expectant moms who have pre-registered thru SMS were given a swag bag filled with goodies, a "passport" where you get stamps and goodies from every booth, a raffle ticket, and a newspaper.

The "passport" thing was so much fun. Completed passports earns you another raffle entry.You get to visit and collect stamps from booths like The Belly Blessed  Bar, Cordlife, Anmum, Lactacyd Baby Bath, Baby Plus, Mommy Matters, Indigo Baby, and more. It gave us a chance to visit every booth and check out their wonderful products; ranging from baby bottles, infant wear, maternity clothes, maternity milk, strollers, wooden toys, and more. The best part was everything was at discount prices, ranging from 30% off to 70% off! The good part is, if you run out of cash, they accept credit cards. Now, tell me if that ain't fun!

My "Passport" 

Too bad it rained, everybody scampered around and I didn't get the chance to get a stamp from The Belly Blessed Tree. No extra raffle entry and I didn't get to submit my passport.

At 1pm, the program started and they had some talks regarding the products/booths at the event and they gave out prizes to the lucky raffle winners. It was both informative and fun! The Belly Blessed Fest and Mommy Mundo Clearance Sale truly was a successful and fun event for (expectant) moms like me. The clearance sale sure was a hit and a huge help to budget-savvy moms like me. It was also a fun venue to interact and meet other moms! You won't imagine my delight upon seeing all those pregnant moms! Oooh, I just want to talk to each and every one of them!

August Weekend Events: Mommy Mundo Clearance Sale and Belly Blessed Fest

Good news to all expectant moms!
